This is to inform all students, faculty members, staff, and stakeholders of Raghunathpur College, Purulia that pursuant to Government of West Bengal, Higher Education Department Order No. 725-EH/O/CS/4C–06/2026 dated 22.05.2026, the tenure of the Nominated Members of the Governing Body of this College has been terminated in accordance with earlier Government Order No. 693-Edn(CS)/4C-06/2026 dated 12.05.2026.
In exercise of powers conferred under Section 4(3) of the West Bengal Universities and Colleges (Administration and Regulation) Act, 2017, the Government of West Bengal has appointed an Administrator in place of the existing Governing Body to ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of the College.
Smt. Moumita Mandal, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, has been appointed as Administrator of Raghunathpur College and shall discharge all administrative functions until the Governing Body is duly reconstituted or until further orders from the Government, whichever is earlier.
All routine academic, administrative, and financial activities of the College shall continue as normal under the supervision of the Administrator.
